Dela lives in Western Australia along with Deej (Aus Ch Wazazi Lord ofthe Savana).

She is a bitch with attitude to boot. Always a show off but with the spirit to go with it.

Dela is a delight to show and is handled by different people at a lot of her shows. Dela is a little girl that always continues to surprise in the ring. She has only sparingly been show but is a consistent winner at Breed and Group level.

She has been shown in Sydney on 3 separate occasions, coming 2nd out of a very large baby class at the NSW Basenji Specialty as well as “Puppy of the Day” at Sydney Royal. On her last visit she was 2nd in the Open Bitch class at the Sydney Royal (but was in 1st place until the last few seconds).

Dela is also a multiple Class in Group winner, and a Runner-up in Group winner. She has also been Challenge Bitch twice at the Perth Royal Show, and was Puppy of the Day at the 2000 Sydney Royal. She was also placed 2nd in the large open bitch Class at the 2005 Sydney Royal. From limited showing she has nearly 500 Challenge Points.

Dela is a litter sister to BISS Int Ch Wazazi Grand Crusader and Int Ch Wazazi Grand Style. Another litter mate Aus Ch Wazazi Grand Master is the sire of RuBISS Aus Ch Makuba Ky Tania who was placed Group 4th in the Hound Group at the 2002 Royal Melbourne Show and RuBISS at the 2001 Basenji Club of Victoria Specialty Show.

Dela is also a full sister to RuBISS Aus Ch Wazazi With Class.

Aus Ch Kanibaru Del Diamante who came to join us at Wazazi in 2007 is a daughter of Dela.
