Savana is a little girl that my mum and sister Jodie fell in love with as a baby because of her fantastic demeanour. She is an untypical basenji in the fact that she thinks the sun shines out of any stranger that passes her way. When a stranger comes to visit she loves to jump up to smell their faces, wag her tail and yodel as loud as she can to get their attention.
Jodie and my mum were absolutely sure that Savana would be staying with us for the rest of her life.
