Midge was an unforgettable bitch and left me with a lasting impression of what a real showdog was. From the first day she entered the ring as a baby I knew she was special.

Midge was titled very quickly at nine months of age and over her nine and a half years in the ring was awarded Top Basenji for the New South Wales Basenji Club for six consecutive years.

She was the first Basenji in Australia to be awarded the title Grand Champion when it came into effect. I brought her out of retirement at ten to gain her last CC to qualify for this title.

In her time in the ring she would always showed her best when it was most important. She was awarded BIS three times and RUBIS at our prestigious Basenji Club of NSW specialty show, in which she and her daughter Meg (Aus Ch Wazazi Pure Imagination) are the only two Basenjis to have won BIS more than once.

Some of her other achievements include Baby In Show at our Specialty show; NSW Basenji Club Baby puppy point score winner; multiple all breeds Best and Runner up BIS winner; Hound Club runner up BIS winner; Multiple Royal BOB’s and many other achievements to numerous to mention.
